Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) - Liam - Medium - Adult
Liam is a heeler mix that was run over by a car when he was 8 weeks old. His leg was crushed but the vet said it wasn't necessary to remove it. As a result, he has a stiff legged movement, puts weight on it, but it is less developed than his other legs. Liam was kept crated for several months until his leg healed and he could get around better. He has since been out loose on a farm and then put in a dog yard. He is in with a spayed female that he gets along well with, Fiona, and he cries if he's separated from her. He is a sweet boy but has killed a cat - so he has to be in a fenced yard. He is very affectionate and might actually be easy to housetrain at this point as he's eager to please. Please consider a two for one adoption or foster care with Liam & Fiona. (Fiona - photo #2).
